Privacy Policy — Shole Soccer

Last updated: 25.08.2026 · Applies to Shole Soccer on Steam

This policy explains what personal data Shole Soccer collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written for the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applies to all players regardless of where you live.

Who is responsible

Jarno Pasma, trading as One For Me Games
Oulu, Finland
Email: support@oneformegames.com

I am the data controller for the data described below. There is no separate data protection officer; write to the address above with any question or request.

What the game collects

1. Data needed to play online

Shole Soccer uses Unity Gaming Services (Unity Authentication, Lobby and Relay) to connect players to each other. This happens whenever you play a multiplayer match and cannot be switched off, because the game cannot connect you otherwise.

DataWhyLegal basis
An anonymous player ID generated by Unity Authentication To identify your client inside a match session. It is not linked to your name, email or Steam account. Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b))
IP address To route match traffic through Unity Relay. Traffic is relayed, so other players do not see your IP address. Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b))
Session data: lobby ID, the display name you choose, team, connection status To run the lobby and the match. Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b))

Choose a display name that you are comfortable showing to other players. If you enter your real name, other players in the lobby will see it.

2. Optional gameplay analytics

If you turn analytics on, the game sends anonymous gameplay events through Unity Analytics — things like matches played, match length, goals scored, and basic technical information such as your platform, operating system version and approximate country. This helps me find bugs and balance the game.

This is off unless you choose to enable it, and you can change your mind at any time in Settings → Privacy. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). Withdrawing consent stops further collection; it does not affect data already collected.

3. What the game does not collect

Who else processes this data

These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another approved safeguard.

How long it is kept

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to ask for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and to object to processing. You can also withdraw analytics consent at any time in the game's settings.

To delete your data, go in-game to Settings → Privacy → Delete data. For any other request, email support@oneformegames.com and include the Unity player ID shown in the Privacy tab, so the right records can be located. I will respond within one month.

If you believe your data has been handled incorrectly, you may lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto), tietosuoja.fi, or with the supervisory authority in your own country.

Children

Shole Soccer is not directed at children under 13. Analytics consent should only be given by a player aged 13 or over; in some countries a higher age applies, in which case a parent or guardian should decide. If you believe a child has enabled analytics without permission, contact me and I will delete the associated data.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Significant changes will also be noted in the game's patch notes.
